The specific objectives of the work package "3D Medical Printing Process of Task-based/Procedure-based of Robotic Physical Simulators and 3D printing materials determination of training models" are to:
Prepare the 3D models for 3D printing.
Select suitable materials for 3D printing of different organs and tissues.
3D print the 3D models.
Cure and post-produce the 3D models.
These specific objectives contribute to the general objectives of the project in the following ways:
OB2: The 3D printed anatomical models will be used in physical and digital environment simulators to provide trainees with hands- on experience with robotic surgery.
OB3: The 3D-printed anatomical models will be used to develop procedural and task-based training materials in robotic surgery.
OB4: The 3D-printed anatomical models will be used to evaluate and validate training materials to ensure that they are effective and meet the needs of trainees.
OB6: The 3D-printed anatomical models will be used to study the physical substance organization of printed 3D models for simulators.
OB7: Customized 3D simulators will be disseminated to clinical and medical education centers so that trainees can access high-quality robotic surgery training.
The tasks and responsibilities of each partner organisation in the work package.
The activities of this work package are:
1.Preparation of the 3D models for 3D printing,
2. Selecting suitable materials for 3D printing of different organs&tissues,
3. 3D Printing of the 3D models and
4. Curing and post-production of the 3D models.
